OM Registration Night

SHMS Odyssey of the Mind Registration night is scheduled for Thursday, September 1 at 7pm in the SHMS Media Center. We will be taking team registrations and answering any questions parents and/or students may have. If you have any questions regarding registration, please feel free to email us. OM Information Available at the SHMS Open House

Stone Hill Middle School is excited to sponsor Odyssey of the Mind (OM) program again this school year.  Odyssey of the Mind offers students the opportunity to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills while working with a team of five to seven students that are guided by a coach.  Two of Stone Hill's teams placed in the regional competition last year and we're hoping to continue with that success this year.  Students interested in the program are encouraged to attend the open house on Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 6-8 p.m.  Information about the 2011-2012 long-term problems, team registration process, and other details will be available to all students and parents at that time.  This blog will be used to help students find teammates, list important dates and clarifications, and share favorite spontaneous problems.  Mr. Markwood will be the teacher sponsor and Mrs. Pochiraju will be the overall coordinator for the Stone Hill OM program this year.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at StoneHillOM@gmail.com
